      Frequently Asked Questions

      Where does the stock come from?  

      Overstock or surplus stock happens when stores and brands produce more products than they sell. Retailers are left with too much stock and instead of letting that excess stock sitting in their warehouse, we are buying it off and help to secure profitability.

      Overstock is categorized in different quality grades. A grade are new products, with tags and without defects, coming from the surplus production. B grade products can still be new products with tags, but with a small defect, e.g. from trying on the item in the store and leaving a mark on it; missing buttons or defect zippers. C grade items are customer returns, which usually have bigger but repairable defects, like a hole or a tear in the fabric and worn clothing.

      What is the price range for your products?

      The price range depends on the product and brand segment. Our offers range from low-cost brands to high end designer brands. The prices on stock clothing and shoes are low because the products are coming from overproduction and past season stock, customer returns and liquidations.

      Why can’t I see the prices online?  

      Unfortunately, we cannot publish prices, as supply agreements with brands do not allow us to set prices lower than the original ones. So please do not hesitate to request prices via online chat or request forms on our website.

      How can I order?

      The procedure of purchasing is quite simple: when interested in making a purchase, simply call us or email us the list of desired items and the quantity wished. Once we have received your order, we will send it to the warehouse for completion and then we will send you a Proforma Invoice based on which you can make the payment. We accept bank transfer, PayPal or you can pay cash in person when picking up. After payment has been received the goods are ready for delivery or pick up.

      How do you deliver my order?  

      For shipment we use the services of DHL (flat fees available for each country for packages up to 10,20 or 31,5kg) and for larger orders we can also request quotations from transportation companies. You are welcometo use your own preferred transportation company as well, no obligations connected to purchase whatsoever.

      1. Shipping by DHL Advantages: low delivery costs, fast shipping. Perfect for small sample orders. The order you purchase is repacked at our warehouse according to DHL standards, so that the parcel’s weight does not exceed the standard weight. Delivery time: on average 5 working days for European countries, and 10 working days for other countries. Please note that delivery may take longer during peak seasons (Christmas holidays). DHL insures all items under € 500. You can track your order on the DHL website using your individual tracking number which is sent to you via e-mail. Attention: starting with the shipment date, your parcel is subject to customer’s liability. RT ReTrade AG has liability for your goods until they are transferred to DHL. RT ReTrade AG has no influence on delivery time; customs control procedures, loss or damage risks.

      2. Delivery by third-party shipping and logistics companies Advantages: door-to-door shipping, low risk of problems with customs control, your cargo’s damage or loss. Our area of responsibility is extended due to the shipping company’s liability that guarantees full compensation in case of your cargo’s loss. Delivery time: 5-10 working days for European countries, 15 working days for another countries on average. Please note that delivery may take longer during peak seasons (Christmas holidays).

      3. Pickup, delivery by customer shipping companies You are welcome to either collect your cargo at our warehouse or hire a customs broker or shipping company.

      How do you pack our order?  

      The warehouse logistics department at RT ReTrade AG pays great attention to the quality of shipment packaging delivered to our clients. We offer several standard packages for your shipment:

      1. Small box (parcel) Up to 20 or 30 kg parcels are packed into 60cm х 40cm х 40cm boxes made of a pasteboard. The boxes are accurately pasted over with scotch tape. We provide sealed packing, flat and smooth outside.

      2. Big box (parcel) Over 30 kg parcels are packed into 78cm х 58cm х 36cm boxes made of a pasteboard. The boxes are accurately pasted over with scotch tape. We provide sealed packing, flat and smooth outside.

      3. Bag A bag is a soft packaging made of solid yellow polypropylene. The dimensions are 94cm х 39cm х30cm. The bag’s neck has a double-row stitching with a thick red thread. The bag is tightly packed and sealed.

      4. Special packaging Boxes of non-standard size for bulky cargos. We provide sealed packing, flat and smooth outside.

      IMPORTANT! Please check package integrity when you receive your shipment at the pick-up point.

      We ship fully prepaid orders only. We accept bank transfer, PayPal or you can pay cash in person when picking up.

      What if the order is lost during shipment?  

      The risk of accidental loss or accidental deterioration of the products shall pass to the purchaser when the products are dispatched, i.e. handed over to the forwarding company, irrespective of whether the shipment originated from the place of performance or who bears the freight costs.
